Rehearsals Continue in Anticipation of CONvergence

Possible Oscar is deep into rehearsals for our upcoming show at CONvergence 2009. It feels like the post-MarsCon cobwebs have been shaken off, and we are jelling as a unit quite nicely. Some of the P.O. classics are downright rockin’ at a new level. We’re also adding a few more songs from the catalog to the live repertoire.

But that’s not all! Our set will also include a couple of new cover songs that fans of funny music should appreciate, as well as not one, but TWO NEW SONGS. That’s right: the long, slow march to album number two has finally passed a milestone. One of the new songs has been in development for over 18 months, while the other one’s lifetime can be counted in days.

It appears we are scheduled to perform at 10:00 PM on Friday, July 3, if the master schedule for CONvergence is to be believed. We know Friday is one of the big party nights, but fear not: if you can’t be bothered to stop drinking, the bar is right across the hall from Harmonic CONvergence. Bottoms up!
